City of Greensboro issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.

The City is closed Friday in observance of Veterans’ Day. This may affect your trash/recycling collections. 

No garbage, recycling, bulk trash, yard waste, or appliance collections take place on Friday, November 11.

 Instead, Friday’s collections take place on Thursday, November 10. Thursday’s collections will be on Wednesday, November 9.
