City of Greensboro Fire Department issued the following announcement on Aug. 29.

The 2022 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb will take place on Saturday, September 10 at the Bellemeade Parking Deck in downtown Greensboro (220 N. Greene St.). 

Check-in is from 7:30-9 am and the event starts at 9 am. 

Participants have the option of climbing the flights of stairs at the Bellemeade Deck nine times, representing approximately 73 flights of stairs – the equivalent of the highest floor New York Fire Department firefighters reached on 9/11.
