City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.
The Greensboro Mountain Biking Experience is a unique opportunity for any skill level rider to learn the fun sport of mountain biking.
Our mobile biking trailer supplies you with all the gear needed and an instructor to teach you how to safely ride our local mountain bike trails! Come ride with us November 12 from 10 am to 12 noon on King Fisher Trail.
The Greensboro Mountain Biking Experience offers beginner instruction for children and adults which includes identifying the appropriate size bike frame, how to replace the chain if it pops off, and repairing a flat tire.
The emphasis is on safety: eyes on the trail, how to get over a tree stump, and other basic skills to prepare riders for any of Greensboro’s seven mountain biking trails.
All experience levels are welcome. Please bring your own helmet, water bottle, and bike gloves if you have them.
