City of Greensboro issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.

Our Parks and Rec staff were representing the City at the NC Recreation and Park Conference this week in Greenville, NC. 

At the conference, VF Corporation received the Corporate/Humanitarian Award for its continued support for Greensboro Parks and Recreation. 

Also, the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Commission received the Distinguished Recreation Board Award. 

We are extremely grateful for the support of VF and the Parks and Recreation Commission!
