City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 24.

Come celebrate the opening of Trout Season at Lake Higgins! 

Cast your line into our stocked trout pond, and enjoy chili made by other Greensboro locals. 

Bring an instrument for an old time and bluegrass jam around the bonfire.
Cost is $5 per person.
