City of Greensboro Parks and RecreationDepartment issued the following announcement on Nov. 13.
Trout season is almost upon us at Lake Higgins!
Join us this Saturday from 12-5 pm for Trout fishing and a Chili Cookoff.
Cost is $5 per person to enter the chili cookoff, and $2 to fish plus $5 per pound that you catch.

The Guilford County Tax Department has rescheduled its Tax Reappraisal Educational Session to Tuesday, February 10, at 6 p.m. The event will take place at the NC Cooperative Extension – Guilford County Center, located at 3309 Burlington Road.
