CITY OF GREENSBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT: Update on Adopt An Operation Yuletide Family

0Comments

City of Greensboro Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 7.

We have 11 families in Greensboro who have been nominated by our officers and still need to be “adopted” as part of Operation Yuletide. Who can help??

Operation Yuletide is an initiative led by members of the Greensboro Police Department (GPD) to bring some holiday cheer to good people who are experiencing tough times.

Throughout the year, GPD employees meet people who have been impacted by serious crimes, accidents, or an unfortunate turn of events. And each year those employees organize to provide gifts of new clothing, toys, and household items to deserving families and seniors nominated by the police department. These are people GPD has come in contact with over the year and been touched by their circumstances.

The Department also “adopts” one senior home to deliver cheer and gifts of essential household and hygiene items. Operation Yuletide is one way the department lets these families and seniors know they are cared about.Sign up now  at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/yuletide2022
