City of Greensboro issued the following announcement on June 13.

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Wednesday, June 15, issued updated drinking water health advisories for perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS) that replace those EPA issued in 2016.

The new PFOA and PFOS levels affect many water utilities across NC, including the City of Greensboro’s Water Resources Department.
