GREENSBORO PARKS AND RECREATION: The Kings Forest Artist in Residency and The Glenwood Artist in Residency Teams Will Be Installing Murals

Greensboro Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Nov. 18. 

 The Kings Forest Artist in Residency and The Glenwood Artist in Residency teams will be installing murals on the Kings Forest Neighborhood Park and Steelman Park Basketball Courts. 

The mural installations will be held on Saturday, November 20 and Sunday, November 21. 

*Please note that this will cause both courts be closed over the weekend. If you’d like to watch them paint, admire their work from a respectful distance.

The artists have been working with a large group of community members to develop the project and expects many of them to be onsite volunteering on the paint days. Community celebrations are planned in the park for Saturday, November 20 from 2-5pm as the artists work on the mural.
