The event aims to bring together people of all ages for a family-friendly afternoon celebrating skate culture in Greensboro. Organizers say activities will include a skateboard trick competition, roller skating instruction, food vendors, art projects, music performances, and more.

According to the department’s announcement, the schedule begins with an open skate session at 1 p.m., followed by an interactive art project at 1:30 p.m. Roller skating instruction is set for 1:45 p.m., while the trick contest will start at 2:15 p.m. The day concludes with live performances and giveaways beginning at 3 p.m.

By offering events like Glenwood Grind each year, city officials hope to promote active lifestyles and foster community engagement through recreation.
