Greensboro Police Department issued the following announcement on Apr. 11.

It’s time to register for National Night Out (NNO)! NNO will take place August 2 this year and registration closes July 15. There is also a paper registration attached for those who request it. We are encouraging online sign ups as much as possible. Each site will receive balloons, a yard sign and a t-shirt.

This unique crime and drug prevention event is sponsored locally by the Greensboro Police Department. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a sense of community.
