State Rep. Pricey Harrison has introduced legislation in the North Carolina House to initiate a study focused on plastic particle contamination in inland and coastal state waters.
Both eastbound lanes on West Friendly Avenue are closed following a major water main break affecting local service. Repairs are underway with restoration expected by tonight. Residents can find updates and guidance from city officials.
Registration for Greensboro’s adult basketball leagues opens May 4 and runs through May 29. Both women’s and men’s leagues are offered, with games scheduled between June and July.
