The City of Greensboro announced on May 11 that the 900 block of Hackett Street, from East Gate City Boulevard to Gorrell Street, will be closed on Tuesday, May 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for sewer line work.

The closure is expected to cause minor traffic delays. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and pay attention to signs and traffic cones in the area. Westbound drivers on East Gate City Boulevard who need access to Highway 29 will be detoured onto Lincoln Street.

City officials said that dates and times may change depending on weather conditions or last-minute adjustments in the work schedule.
