The virtual public information meeting for the Guilford County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 3 at 6 p.m. The plan outlines and evaluates regional risks from natural disasters and presents strategies to reduce or manage these hazards.

In related educational news, recent data show that among Guilford County school district students who took the ACT in the 2022-23 academic year, approximately 22% of seniors and juniors were considered ready for college in science, while nearly 24% of seniors and just over 21% of juniors met college readiness benchmarks in math.
