Later that day, she provided an update on her efforts to support communities affected by Hurricane Helene. In a tweet posted on October 8, 2024, she wrote: “Today, I joined @SBAIsabel and @CityofAsheville Mayor Manheimer to survey storm damage and meet with small business owners impacted by Hurricane Helene. In Congress, I will keep fighting to ensure that affected communities receive the support they need to recover and rebuild.”
