Congresswoman Kathy Manning, representing North Carolina’s 6th district, recently shared her views on various topics through a series of tweets. Manning, who has been serving in Congress since 2021, has expressed her stance on women’s rights, celebrated a significant birthday for a former president, and commented on international relations.

On September 30, 2024, Manning stated her commitment to supporting women’s rights. She tweeted: “I’m proud to stand alongside my @DemWomenCaucus colleagues to fight for reproductive freedoms and to make life more affordable for America’s women.”

The following day, October 1, 2024, she extended birthday wishes to former President Jimmy Carter. In her tweet she said: “Happy 100th birthday, President Carter! From a Georgia peanut farm to the Oval Office, your example of humility and public service has made our country a better place.”

Later that day on October 1st, Manning addressed the geopolitical tensions involving Iran and Israel. She asserted the importance of U.S. support for its ally by tweeting: “Iran, the leading global sponsor of terror, has launched a massive missile attack against Israel. The United States must stand with our ally Israel and ensure it has the support it needs to protect its citizens.”
