On October 30, 2024, Manning expressed her support for the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act on North Carolina’s clean-energy sector. She stated, “Thanks to Democrats’ #InflationReductionAct, North Carolina is supercharging its clean-energy economy with over $19 BILLION in new investments and more than 11,000 new clean-energy jobs across the state.”

Later that day, she reported on her visit to Syngenta US’s North America Crop Protection Headquarters.
