FELLOWSHIP PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH: An Educational Opportunity to Address Racism

Brown

Fellowship Presbyterian Church recently issued the following announcement.

Navigating Racial Equity: Fellowship's 21-Day Journey - Starting July 15th

Fellowship is providing a unique opportunity for learning to its Fellowship Family starting July 15th. Navigating Racial Equity: Fellowship's 21-Day Journey asks those who are interested and sign up to participate in 21 days of listening and acting, seeking to better understand systematic racism and injustice and how we can act to bring equity and healing to our nation.

Those who participate are invited, starting July 15th, to watch, listen to, read or do each day something that helps bring insight into the racial divide in our country. Participants will be provided with resources from which to choose. While interacting with the daily resource, participants will be asked to reflect and journal those reflections in some way. Participants will be invited to share during weekly small group meetings (via Zoom) throughout the journey.

Those who are interested or who have questions should contact Pastor Kathryn - there will be an organizational meeting scheduled on Monday, July 13, at 6 pm for approximately 30 minutes . If you're unable to join the meeting but interested in joining the challenge, please let Pastor Kathryn know.
