University of North Carolina Greensboro issued the following announcement on Sep 24.
Get ready for one of UNC Greensboro’s most exciting times of the year: Homecoming! This year, UNCG will host student-centered events, giving our “future alumni” a week-long celebration and a chance to experience the Homecoming magic they might have missed last year.
Students will be able to enjoy all the beloved UNCG homecoming classics: a Saturday night bonfire, food trucks, sports events, and more.
So, mark your calendars, students – here’s the list of events for Homecoming 2021:
- Homecoming Kickoff: Monday, Sept. 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Moran Commons Fountain
- AUX Cord Wars: Tuesday, Sept. 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the EUC Auditorium
- Food Truck Rodeo: Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 11:00 a.m. at the Minerva Statue
- Homecoming Royal Court Competition: Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the EUC Auditorium
- Comedy Show: Thursday, Sept. 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the EUC Auditorium
- Women’s Volleyball vs. Samford: Friday, Oct. 1 at 6:00 p.m. at Fleming Gym
- Silent Disco: Friday, Oct. 1 at 6:00 p.m. at the Campus Rec Field
