Greensboro Day School issued the following announcement on Aug. 8.
Please welcome Ryan Cook who joined us in July as the new Upper School Director.
He is excited to be at GDS because of the people and the program.
Ryan was initially struck by the passion and commitment of the GDS community.
He commented that so many staff have been at GDS for a significant number of years, and were also students here.
He said, "The program at GDS offers students so much and does a great job of combining the traditional with the innovative. CLEAR Labs, JBT, May Term, and Senior internships are all examples of unique programs that offer students excellent choice and variety. "
