Federal Aviation Act Passes U.S. House with Manning Amendments to Bolster Aviation Workforce
On July 20, 2023, Congresswoman Kathy Manning (NC-06), voted in favor of the bipartisan Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act, H.R. 3995, to reauthorize the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for five years. H.R. 3995 included two of Congresswoman Manning’s amendments to bolster youth aviation training initiatives and encourage aviation workforce development at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs).
