City of Burlington recently issued the following announcement.

SPACE IS LIMITED FOR THIS HIKE.
EVERY PERSON IN YOU PARTY NEEDS TO PREREGISTER.
Grab a friend and get out for a hike in the woods! This hike is 2-2.5 miles on natural surface trail over rolling terrain with a few steep hills. Wear comfortable walking shoes or boots. Kids welcome with accompanying adult.
The hike starts promptly at 3:00 pm. Plan to arrive a few minutes prior to the start time.
What to Bring:
- Water bottle
- Appropriate layers for the weather
- Trekking poles (optional)
- Mask. Masks are required during check-in and while gathering before the hike (but not while hiking).
