Greensboro Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on June 6.
Captain Booker, a retired US Coast Guard captain, is holding a Boaters Safety Information Booth June 25th at Lake Townsend. He will be going over boater safety topics including life jackets, boat operation tips, safety checks, drinking while boating, and other very useful information.
This event is free and will be located under the breeze way at Lake Townsend on Saturday, June 25th from 9 am-5 pm.
