Congresswoman Kathy Manning, who represents North Carolina’s 6th district, has been active on social media discussing various political and local issues. Her recent tweets have focused on national policy proposals as well as her engagement with the local community.

On October 28, 2024, Congresswoman Manning expressed concerns over Donald Trump’s proposed Project 2025 agenda. She stated that "Donald Trump’s extreme Project 2025 agenda would give a massive handout to the wealthiest 1% at the expense of hardworking North Carolinians." Manning highlighted that under this plan, a family of four in North Carolina could face a tax increase of over $2,700 per year.

In another tweet on October 29, 2024, Manning addressed reproductive rights. She asserted that "Donald Trump and his MAGA allies in Congress won’t stop with overturning Roe." According to her, their Project 2025 agenda aims to further restrict reproductive freedoms by targeting abortion pills and birth control coverage.

Later on October 29, she shared her involvement in local affairs by joining High Point Mayor Jefferson for a tour. She mentioned her visit to Riverside Furniture’s showroom and discussions with leaders from the HP Market Authority about priorities for the city’s furniture industry. Manning tweeted: "Today, I joined @CityofHighPoint Mayor Jefferson to tour Riverside Furniture’s showroom & meet with leaders from the HP Market Authority..."
