City of Burlington recently issued the following announcement.
Fun Friday: Imagination Station Science and History Museum

Up and Atom! Join us as we travel to the Imagination Station Science and History Museum in Wilson, NC. The museum provides informal science and history education for people of all ages to learn how the world around us works. After the museum, we will eat lunch at The Kountry Kitchen. The cost for the trip is $9 per person. Lunch and shopping costs are the responsibility of the participant and/or parent/caregiver. Each participant under the age of 18 years must have a parent/caregiver with them. Please park in the marked spaces between the baseball field and grassy area on Overbrook Rd. We will load from the sidewalk at 8:00am. We are expected to return around 4:15pm. Please register online or at the BRPD Main Office no later than February 6 at 12pm. This event is for those with special needs.
