The Guilford Workforce Development Board will provide a virtual resource fair for community members to find out about area organizations and agencies that are available to provide assistance or support during this time of need.
The free online fair entitled Bounce-Back: Connecting Resources to our Community takes place on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be virtual booths, displays, and community resources related to housing, utilities, health and wellness jobs, clothing and others, according to the information posted on the workforce website, GuilfordWorks.
Aside from the displays, representatives will be available to discuss in greater detail the services they provide and help community members sign up for any programs.
While the event is virtual, the workforce board will provide space at the NCWorks Career and the High Point for individuals who do not have reliable or internet access, the organization said. Those attending the in-person sessions will be required to wear a face mask and social distance from others.
Registration is available online through the Bounce Back website.
