Greensboro Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Mar. 14.
First Tee Central CarolinaTee is a non-profit organization that teaches kids, between the ages of 7-18, core values, healthy habits, and life skills through the game of golf. Our mission is to help build game changers both on and off the golf course, creating lifelong players and even better citizens.
Our chapter, First Tee—Central Carolina, is pleased to invite the youth of Greensboro to participate in our upcoming Spring Season (March 21st-May 14th). We have classes available at different golf courses throughout the Triad, including Gillespie, The Cardinal, Greensboro National, Iron Play, Jamestown, and Oak Hollow. Our PLAYer Class, the Introductory Level, will be held one day a week, either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, in the afternoon from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. We also have a Saturday afternoon session at Gillespie Golf Course from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
