Congresswoman Kathy Manning, representing North Carolina's 6th district since 2021, recently shared a series of tweets addressing key legislative actions and her advocacy efforts. Manning, who succeeded Mark Walker in Congress, has been active in promoting democratic principles and supporting veterans.

On November 21, 2024, Manning issued a statement regarding H.R. 9495. She directed her followers to read more about it through a link provided: "My statement on H.R. 9495 ⬇️ https://t.co/BkryRGNLBE".

Later that day, she addressed the issue of partisan gerrymandering from the House Floor. In her tweet dated November 21, she emphasized the importance of voters choosing their representatives rather than politicians drawing districts to secure electoral advantages: "Today, I took to the House Floor to call for an end to the egregious practice of partisan gerrymandering. In a democracy, the voters choose who represents them - not the other way around."

On November 22, Manning highlighted her contributions during the last Congress towards passing the PACT Act aimed at assisting veterans exposed to toxins during their service. Her tweet noted that over 5,400 veterans from North Carolina's 6th district have filed claims under this act: "Last Congress, I was proud to help pass the #PACT Act to deliver benefits & health care to veterans exposed to toxins while serving. Since then, over 5,400 #NC06 veterans have submitted #PACT Act claims. I’ll always work to ensure veterans have access to the care they need."
