City of Greensboro issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
City offices are closed on Friday, December 23, Monday, December 26, Tuesday, December 27, as well as Monday, January 2, 2023, for the holidays.
The following services and facilities will operate on a holiday schedule:
• Trash and recycling collections for December 23, will take place as usual. Collections scheduled for Monday, December 26, take place on Tuesday, December 27. Tuesday’s collections take place on Wednesday, December 28.
• Trash and recycling collections scheduled for Monday, January 2, 2023, will take place on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Tuesday’s collections will take place on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
• The White Street Landfill and the Solid Waste Transfer Station will be closed Saturday, December 24, and Monday, December 26, and Saturday, December 31, and Monday, January 2, 2023.
