City of Greensboro issued the following announcement on Feb. 15.

A public hearing on an updated proposed short term rental ordinance is scheduled for 5:30 pm Wednesday, March 1, at a special meeting of the City’s Planning and Zoning Commission.

The meeting takes place in Council Chamber, Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington St., and will also be available on Zoom.

The updated proposed regulations for short term rentals, which include the rental of private homes through services such as Airbnb and VRBO, were presented to City Council during its January 26 work session.

In-person speakers and those online will have up to three minutes to address the commission.
