Manning, a Harvard and University of Michigan alumna, posted about local developments in Greensboro and commented on national political issues.

On November 25, 2024, Congresswoman Manning tweeted about attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex in East Greensboro. She stated, "This weekend, I attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex, a planned state-of-the-art recreation center & service hub in East Greensboro. I was proud to secure $4.3 million in federal funding to bring to life this transformative project."

Later that day, she highlighted the significance of a new memorial in Greensboro with her tweet from November 25, 2024: "The sculpture She Wouldn't Take Off Her Boots stands in Greensboro as North Carolina’s first Women’s Holocaust memorial - a tribute to the resilience of Jewish women during the Holocaust and a reminder of the dangers antisemitism continues to pose today."

On November 26, 2024, Manning addressed potential economic impacts under Donald Trump's presidential plans. She tweeted: "Donald Trump’s day-one plan as President? Raising costs for millions of Americans."
